Introduction

Dr. Jie Wang received his bachelor’s degree from the College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences at Wuhan University and earned his Ph.D. from the Center for Life Sciences at Peking University. He then completed his postdoctoral training at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University. In 2020, he joined the Department of Chemistry at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), where he has served as associate professor and principal investigator.

Our team is dedicated to developing chemical editing methods for proteins. By achieving precise, multi-scale editing from specific amino acid residues to functional domains，we aim to explore, expand, reprogram and intervene in protein chemical space, thereby enabling the development of innovative drug molecules and therapeutic modalities.
